AREA 52 071: “Oh My Gosch!”

Oh My Gosch!

In September of 1982, a 12-year-old boy named Johnny Gosch was snatched while out on his paper route in a seemingly safe Des Moines, Iowa neighborhood. With no help from an almost suspiciously uninterested police force and a laughably unhelpful FBI, Johnny’s mother, Noreen, took it upon herself to keep her son’s story alive by never letting it leave the public eye.

Because of this fierce dedication, this case not only didn’t fade  away, it helped change the way law enforcement approaches missing children cases and actually ended up helping to shed light on a global ring of human trafficking and sexual abuse tied to some of the richest and most powerful individuals in the world.

Join us this week at your discretion as we talk about an unthinkable and inhumane hidden world while examining the tragic disappearance, unbelievable legend and bittersweet legacy of Johnny Gosch.
